Had Shannon been a true champion for civil liberties and Equal Justice under the law, like we would expect of a Democratic candidate, he might have provided a logical alternative to Mr. Cuccinelli.

Instead, Shannon came out with the tired old, scare Sally Soccermom with stories of "predators" (an extremely rare, though horrible crime). Shannon then went on to basically echo whatever Cuccinelli said about tossing more of our citizens in jail.

Neither candidate has uttered a word about ensuring fair treatment of our citizens; they both see tossing people in jail as some sort of game, where whoever jails more people for the longest, wins, while real justice be damned.

Both Cuccinelli and Shannon are wildly ambitious. Neither has the temperament or the devotion to our citizens that one should have in order to serve in elected office, at any level.

On November 3rd: NONE OF THE ABOVE for AG!
