Organizing for America (AKA BarackObama.com), the 'grass roots' arm of the Democratic National Committee reported in an email to supporter that "Thousands of you have already answered the President's call to donate, volunteer, and commit to vote." It is at least curious that the described commitment was to vote, for anyone at all, not specifically for Democrats and that 'thousands' responded. Not millions or hundreds of thousands or even tens of thousands responded to even vote for someone, anyone out of the millions who participated in OFA in 2008.
